Shoulder Dislocation may be complicated by tearing of the muscles, ligaments, and tendons that support the shoulder joint and damage of the nerve or blood vessels in or around the shoulder joint. Repairing these tissues may require surgery.
Apart from that, shoulder instability may increase chances of repeated occurrence of shoulder dislocation and re-injury.
